The journey kicked off in true Taiwanese style with a mandatory stop in Tamsui for some iconic boba tea, a local delight that's loved worldwide and local shopping. The sweet pearls dancing playfully in the tea were just the beginning of a gastronomic voyage filled with flavorful escapades. Our following night market adventure was a sensory overload—vibrant colors, tantalizing smells, and the bustle of fellow food enthusiasts eager to sample Taiwan’s culinary treasures.

Exploring Nature’s Artistry

Our first activity at Yehliu Geopark was a remarkable brush with nature's artistry, featuring an array of intriguing rock formations that seemed to defy gravity. Among the wondrous shapes was my personal favorite, the rock steak! A perfect blend of nature and whimsy that left me in awe of the Earth's creativity. Later, we found ourselves at the majestic Shifen waterfall, where we released lanterns into the night sky, each carrying our hopes and dreams for a brighter future.
